Clasicos de ocasion magazine, adverts unchanged after a year
Discussion
Last July I picked up a copy of Clasicos de Ocasion in Alicante. This July I bought the same magazine again, and happened to still have the old one. I wondered whether the market had changed? About 1/4 of the adverts from 2016 were still there in the 2017 issue. In almost all cases neither the description or price had changed.
What is going on here? Are classic cars nigh on impossible to sell in Spain, is the magazine a sham intended only for sale to tourists, or do people really advertise cars for a year without success and not think about changing the description or dropping the price?
I hope you can read these.
I have just placed the pages next to each other. I assume if you click the photo you can see a higher resolution version.
Alfa - BMW
Buick - Citroen
Mercedes
Renault
Volkswagen
Racecars
Parts. E30 hubcaps for E30, not sold in a year.
Parts
Miscellaneous. At least some stuff is shifting here, although the Tricolo Infantil missing a wheel is still on offer. Perhaps the seller might do well to put a price on it.

Amazing that so many adverts are remaining from a year ago. You would think the magazine would drop them after a finite amount of time? From what I have seen of scouring used car adverts in Spain is that many ask crazy high prices and would rather not sell than drop the price. Regular cars are very often still for sale with unchanged adverts after over 2 months.
