Just been speaking, by way of the Telling Bone, to Mrs Beano - she's in her office in the Big Blanco City.
Anyway, just commented that it's getting dark here (what with winter returning an' all).
Apparently her office has got automated lighting systems.
So they sit in the dark for ages waiting for the lights to come on, on days like today.
Do you work somewhere with daft systems?

My old desk used to be right under an aircon vent. The actual area I sat in was an extension to the main building. This extention had its own aircon system as it was always a different temperature to the rest of the building.
The actual thermostat was round the corner in the main part of the building. In summer, the rest of the building was nice and cool so the thermo kept the aircon off. As a result, the extension was stifling when it was hot outside.
During the winter, the rest of the building was nice and warm meaning the aircon in the extension was perminently on, not what you need when you stumble in, chilled to the bone and you need to warm up.
It was stupid
