New leather strap for this Seiko

So, I just bought this, by far my smallest watch now but very understated and well finished:



The main problem however is the bracelet, as per usual with sub 100 quid Seiko's they are folded links.
So I bought it with the main intention of putting a leather strap on it.
The problem however after removing the bracelet, while it has a 20mm steel band, the lugs are together much much tighter (as you can see in the picture). I should take a measurement but I'm thinking in the region of 10mm.

Any good solutions to this? Would be a bummer if I couldn't get a nice leather strap on it!

I Googled "notched leather strap seiko" but you'll know the model number so add this and you should find some.

Brilliant! even just the denomination of "notched" will help me out, didn't know that was the proper word for it .
