In the classifieds why is a 4X4 an estate?
Discussion
Dear Classifieds,
I'm looking for an estate car and have set a fairly wide search - simply max price of £5000 and min engine size of 2.9l, Diesel.
Unfortunately this pulls up all sorts of 4X4s - Mitsubishi Shogun, BMW X5, Jeep Cherokee, VW Touareg, Nissan Terrano, Isuzu Trooper - none of which are Estate cars and are clogging up my results.
Is there a way round this?
Cheers

There doesn't seem to be a group for SUV/4x4 type vehicles so I guess the vendors select estate or maybe MPV as the closest available.
The only thing I would do is restrict to FWD and/or RWD, but that'll miss some of the interesting AWD estates too.
Unfortunately that will remove pretty much every audi as all with the 3.0tdi are AWD. The only thing I would do is restrict to FWD and/or RWD, but that'll miss some of the interesting AWD estates too.
