I cant get it off!! I twisted it with tools,hands,blood. Ive hacked at it with a screwdriver and its not coming off!!
s2 04 111s, how do I get the gear knob off??!!

Wrap in a suitable number of layers of masking tape to protect finish, molegrips on and off she comes!

No doubt threadlocked so initial heave will be tough but then its plain sailing!
