1st year voting

this is the very first time i have been able to vote and i just wondered where the hell im supposed to go to do it? is it usually in the town hall of the city?

im in leeds by the way

i know its a bloody stupid question and makes me look like a simpleton but i just dont know! i had a look on google and couldnt find anything DAMN!

I know my local one is in a church hall.

My first General Election. Was dissapointed at the postal vote last year.

Got a stupid anatomy and physiology exam that morning too...grr!

usually when you get your voters card it'll tell you where your polling station is

Normally your polling card will tell you where.

It's usally done at a local school, library or community centre. Just ask around nearer the time.

You need to make sure that you are on the electoral register - the local library will have a copy for you to peruse. If you are, then you should receive a polling card thru' the post - I already have mine 'cos we have local elections on the same day. Thepolling card will tell you where your polling station is, and what hours it will be open.
