(rant on) Bl00dy old people and their meddling want to reduce the national speed limit on the A217 Reigate road. Its a bl00dy straight line!! They complained about the speed cars travel down the road when they pull out of their driveways. Maybe they should try looking first! and then accelerating up to a decent speed, and not hanging onto first gear for a mile. Or MOVE HOUSE, what do you expect living on a dead straight wide country road at national speed limit??? They have even managed to get a meeting with the local council about it. Not fair ( Everytime I go on this road, I get stuck behind some old t0sser in his rover doing 35-40. (rant off)

Personally I would like to live near a track. I find the noise very pleasant. Drowns out irritating 'wildlifey' noises.

Slightly different, but, I once overtook an old git on the slip road to a motorway, looking in my mirror I saw him fumble on the dash, lean on his wheel and take a PHOTO! of the back of my car. I so hope he went to the police with it......"So sir how exactly did you get this photograph?" Oldies...I do love 'em.....couldn't eat a whole one though.

I've noticed of late that if you follow some t**t doing 45 mph on an open road into a village they will still travel at 45mph......are they really that oblivious of anything beyond their windscreen

Had a good one last night.. red Honda Concerto doing 30 on the de-restricted road for 2 miles (no chance for me to overtake)..when we got to the 40 m.p.h. area he accelerated to 50 m.p.h. plus...managed to slam on his brakes at the first roundabout we came to to avoid sideswiping a Peugot 206, then proceeded to turn left from the right hand lane. Stunning! I gave him a VERY wide berth.
