These are potentially the 3 best versions so far of the 991. My question is ;
In another 12/24 mths which car will be seen as "a keeper" and be most sought after?
I'd say that given the above is only your opinion, only you will know the answer....In another 12/24 mths which car will be seen as "a keeper" and be most sought after?
I'd want to know which was more usable and fun to own/drive...not which was more sought after..

It will be interesting to see how 911r prices change when the manual 991.2 GT3's start turning up.
Kinda like SportClassic vs GTS - possibly not much impact. Maybe More impact from it not being the newest limited edition must have and not being that rare overall compared to other limited cars I've not driven a 911R but have driven the others on both road and track and from a driver's point of view the GT2RS is the one to get and hang onto, what a beast!
Assuming you are only referring to 991 models then in terms of rarity probably the GT2RS wins again although the 911R was deliberately made to be a collector model. The GT3RS was, by comparison mass produced. If however you are talking 997 as well then the 4.0L GT3RS is obviously a rare and desirable toy that is sure to remain valuable.
If you look at valuable models from the 80s, 90s, 00s today, the most powerful variants tend to command higher prices so if I was putting money into one of these three it would be the GT2RS, but I would drive it regularly, not care about the mileage and know that when I moved it on I would have enjoyed the car and the 'profit' was a bonus not the reason for having it.
A car can be a great investment but for me it must first and foremost be great to drive, I can't see them as just investments to wrap up in cotton wool for future profit alone. If however you, like me, you aren't looking just for residuals then whilst I feel the answer is GT2RS, in reality I don't see a wrong choice here.

In a few months the 991.2 GT3 RS will be king/most sort after, so none of the above !
Do we know when the hype officially starts on here for that one ?? So I guess it's the next car to come, the train keeps rolling.

I think the new manual 991.2 GT3 with race derived engine and gearbox from R may perhaps be even more desirable than the new PDK only RS...
Big part from a feel, noise, interaction point of the MT in the R, is that it has a SMFW, if ordered. This makes a big difference, not just the box, but also in the way the engine revs up. This is not an option on the GT3. R without the SMFW, Ie same as what the GT3 will have feels like a more powerful NA GTS, in this area.991 R, is very special car to drive, much more than the sum of its parts.

Really hope I get one. First new car apart from new Ford GT I've really wanted in a while.
New GT3 RS, GT2 RS all massively desirable but I suspect the GT3 may be pick of the GT range

Of the "modern" RS type models, for me, no contest the 997 RS 4.0 is the one whose keys I would pick up in preference to all the others. It is mega.
Can't wait for the 2RS though. Porsche will be conservative I am sure about both power and torque figures and it promises to be insane.

If I'm lucky enough to get a new manual GT3 happy to swap cars at a track day for a few laps to compare against your GT2 RS! Have to say it looks mega Can't wait for the 2RS though. Porsche will be conservative I am sure about both power and torque figures and it promises to be insane.
