Roadie shoes sub £100

I am hopefully getting a bike fit next week, so I thought I'd upgrade my bottom of the range, "HBH" shoes I bought from Halfords some years back.

I am considering the B'Twin 900 Road Shoes - seem very good value for £79.99 and have pretty good reviews. https://www.decathlon.co.uk/900-carbon-road-cyclin...

Anyone got any recommendations?

I am currently using MTB SPD pedals, as they was my first time going clipless, however I now fancy trying Look type pedals.

I've got the B'Twin 900s and they're excellent. I get the impression that there's not much else out there that can compete for the same sort of money unless you're buying something heavily discounted.

They're basically these ones but with a slightly wider fit, so addressing the one criticism that was levelled at them:

Personally would just buy a very lightly used pair of top end shoes, cheap shoes are ste generally. And you can find some absoloute bargains out there. Wiggle had the Bont Vaypors for £110 last time I checked.

I just got the Shimano RC7 for £120 from CRC and they're fantastic, really comfy and easily stiff enough! Even relatively good looking compared to many shoes!

I've been using the older 700's from decathlon for the last 3 years, and they have been brilliant, light and cool in the summer and with some decent shoe covers have been used throughout the winter, can't go wrong for the price.
