Bought by the most gullible people on the planet - or is there some merit?

Crap battery life, no technical benefits over a Samsung and an uncertain future for Android Wear (almost guaranteed obsolescence in a couple of years or so)

Why do you have to be gullible to buy this? It looks good, it's fun, it's functional, and it's around the same price as the fancier iWatches.

I agree for a big part with the OP, but then again, didn't apple sell some 25k iWatches?

Also, there are plenty of watches at multiples of that price with a £50 movement.

As LV own Tag I would suspect they have not had too much R&D to rebrand the software.

Lets be honest, re-branding Android Wear software would not be hard to do - few skins/watchfaces etc.

Can you copy the above, which I agree with entirely, over the the thread about the Apple iWatch 2.0 in which I got ripped to shreds for daring to say it might be an ever so slightly, teeny weeny, p.o.s.

I think the base Apple models are acceptable, as are the 'cheap' Android ones being made by Samsung, Fossil, Michael Kors etc.

Tag Heuer was a bit more expensive but they had the trade-in programme at the end of 2 years which made it quite attractive.

But the expensive Apple ones are a bit pointless, just for showing off. The $17k ones were totally ridiculous and discontinued.

The LV ones I just don't see the value proposition.
