Xpel on carbon fibre arch protectors?

As per my other thread I'm about to take delivery of my 620S, however I'm having a Xpel job done on it whilst it's still with Caterham South. My old supersport suffered with bad weathering of the carbon protector plates on the rear arches, they bloomed and I could not get them looking perfect even with bees-wax and alternatives. This time around I'm thinking of having the Xpel protection put onto the plates also to avoid this. Has anyone done similar? Or is there a much better way to avoid the blooming effect?
