I'll have a bit of that.......

Along with Neighbourhood Watch being tooled up and exempt from prosecution.

Plus being allowed to tw*t any Max Power types because you feel like it.

This has the potential for rivalling the Gypsies & Iraq threads

Em, don't think you can use phrases like "the new black" any more......How about "the new shades of grey...."

You should also be able to batter to death intruders to your home and be congratulated for it.

...and hold Jehovah's witnesses hostage if they refuse to leave your property.

...and fit high voltage shock alarms to your vehicle to suprise would be joyriders.

I always thought the excellent "Speed thrills, boredom kills" slogan to be very non-PC... hey, and don't be so insulting to black. It is an excellent colour.

i was a member of the UK's oldest university society during my degree time at st andrews. it was guys only too. i bloody loved going up wearing the tie to leftie black lesbians and hippy gay blokes. being un-PC is great and i love being an old fart before my time. thing is, women, for whom being politically correct originally started (i.e. getting same jobs and pay as men) love to be treated like a lady by gentlemen (correct me if i'm wrong girls). they feel special when you hold the door open for them and also they think you're polite hence like you more hence shag you. that's as far as my thinking takes me.

And you dont think its kinda trendy to be a bit un pc these days (to continue the fashion analogy)?
This could be for many reasons,.. assylum seekers, impending war, a feminist backlash, a reaction to the nanny state?
I would suggest that some folk revel in the shock value out-of-order comments generate. You know,... the kind of mans man, tell it like it is, dont give a f**k about anybody else stuff.

retires to a safe distance.

Disagree, I think people are starting to recognise that PC = someone telling you how you have to think about certain issues.

I.e. my personal opinion is that 'travellers' are taking the p*ss, they don't pay taxes, they pollute & just what do they contribute to society. However, the PC approach would be that I can't say this because I am being judgemental and "not all travellers are the same".

Well these are the same people that have brought us to the point where crime is rife and people go down for protecting their own property, while the scumbag who is trying to take it gets legal aid to prosecute them.

If men were men, and little ladies were little ladies and had the dinner ready on time, the world would be a much better place.

Political Correctness is the biggest load of arse of the 20th Century.

In my mind its uselessness (word?) comes down to this. The Spastics Society changed its name to Scope because of the years of negative connotations and playground name calling etc. So what do kids do?? Start calling each other Scopies.

Its all bollocks people should be allowed to say what they like, you can always ignore them.

Matt.

Am I fooling myself because I secretly want to be a "New lad", or is it part of my "Post new man feminine backlash"

I don't like travellers & I don't care if there is global warming and other people suffer as long as we get warmer summers.

Oh yes, I also like films involving girl on girl action

I agree with N17. I don't know anyone who actually agrees with political correctness. It is basically stopping people saying what they think, but not stopping them thinking it.
For example: Why should I like immigrants coming and spending my taxes ? What do I care if they're being oppressed somewhere in Eastern Europe? Why am I supposed to think men buggering each other is perfectly acceptable behaviour ?

Maybe I have no right to stop any of the above (or the million other things that I'm against), but why should I feel bad when i explain how I feel about them.

Now lets get down to the nitty gritty here...... oops. Funny I heard that term used 3 times in the week on the media except it is unacceptable for a Police officer to do so. Double standards and PCness go hand in hand.

I have a friend who does this on quite a regular basis in chain pubs, he waits until they get nice and full on a Friday and off he goes.

Hilarity is not the word!
