I've decided after months of searching for the right watch that I want to buy a half rose gold/half steel Rolex datejust in hopefully the not too distant future, but has anyone got any experience with buying from Jersey? I always thought the rule was you could save around 17% (less the VAT plus a small 3%ish selling tax) is this still the case? Obviously a substantial saving if so

Have a word with the people at Hettich I have bought a few from them and there is a fairly good saving to be had. I can't remember how much I saved on the D blue I bought but was worth the trip over there, I think you claim back the vat at the airport? If you have never been to Jersey I would say go for a couple of days as it's very nice there. I think the savings are better the more the watch is to be honest. Give them a call. By the way let me know what they quote you as I can get fairly good discounts here, would be interesting to see how they compare?

Ok thanks! A little bit of research seems to bring up Hettich every time when Jersey jewellery is mentioned. I'll give them a call when I'm ready to buy and post
