Carbon vs. titanium seatposts

Talk to me about comfortable seatposts. Any recommendations for improving comfort on a road bike?

I saw the Specialized CG-R seatpost increases comfort and gets great reviews, but it's too pricey.

And in the titanium corner, the Torus Ti seatpost looks incredible, but it's only slightly cheaper than the Specialized.

What are good options under £100?

What diameter post do you need, and how much post do you currently have showing above the seat tube ?
