Now I've tricked you into opening the thread with a nifty title, here's the question:

Anyone know where to get a cheap petrol electric generator to power garage lights and the occasional power tool???

I've got a big one I don't use much (If you'll pardon the expression).

I'd be happy to sell it to you at a ridiculously low price. The drawback is that it's an old site generator so its big (on wheels) and noisy. But it can power just about everything. I used it to rebuild an old frogeye Sprite and powered everything including welding gear, spray compressors etc.

Does "big" mean "tow behind a car" and "noisy" mean "really piss the neighbours off"??? If not, how much do you want???
