Tonight on BBC1 at 9pm. Also worthy of note, GT on 4 at 3.50am and motorsport on 3 at 1.55am

MMM.... anyone else spot the Merc C class police car when the van with the motorbikes pulled into the cop shop...

How much money are they making now to afford that? "Safety" camera revenue must be pretty lucrative north of the border...

I hated the superior wee shite that stopped the guy on the A9 for doing 82 in a 60. Sunny day, not much traffic around. A warning would have sufficed.

I wonder how much it cost for the copter to get from Glasgow to Edinburgh to look for a car thief who had done a runner. If the dog cant pick up a trail, then its obvious he's long gone. What a waste of public money...

And the guy was getting married the next day as well – have a heart guvnor!

The worst guy on there in the blue Sierra was a maniac – and was banned from driving for ten years and jailed for fifteen months. I'd suggest they gotr that the wrong way round...

Yeah, but the blue escort in the end chase: after being surrounded RAMMED a police motorcyclist.

I'm amazed they still try to get away with it.

They have a point, most of the scum featured on the program should have been banged up for years. Utterly unacceptable behaviour like using a housing estate as a track should be dealt with very firmly put them away for years.

However the copper that pulled the bloke doing 70 in a 60 limit or whatever on his way to get married was just a jumped up little power freak, the worst sort of traffic cop about.

Most of the others seemed pretty reasonable although I wish they would stop going on about 'indepentent research and our own findings are that speed kills' NOOOO. INAPPROPRIATE speed kills.

Grrrrrr

I wondered why the copper who pulled the guy for doing 82 in an open 60 said that he should be admiring the scenery. Shouldn't he be looking at the road?

The guy in the Escort looked liked he'd done a hit-and-run – the side of his car was already scraped when he was first pulled. Notice how the police video footage stopped just before the Escort rammed a member of the public's Peugeot 306? Wouldn't want anyone to think the policeman was chasing too close, now would we, on his first day in the traffic car...

And is it just me, or was it another case of the folk who actually owned their cars (as opposed to having nicked them) being given much stronger sentences?
