Hello,

Currently taking my driving lessons and hoping to pass within 3-4 months.

I've been browsing for cars for around a month now and I've got the list down to 6.

06-08 Honda Civic
Audi A3
Audi A4
Mercedes C class
Alfa Romeo GT
BMW 1 series

They're all in my price range and the insurance is all quite similar

I'm steering towards the Civic since it will be a newer car with more gadgets.

Just looking for some advice on which one I should buy and if anyone has any suggestions for a different car please let me know, my budget is £1500-£2000

Thank you

Kind regards

Jack

Civic.

Just because you passed your test does not mean you know how to drive. Go out and drive, get some experience and a No Claims Discount. Then consider your next car. Statistically you are going to be picking up dings and scrapes as you learn, so no point going for anything premium.

100% the civic

it will be more reliable
it will cost less to run
and cheaper to repair when you ding it

ignore the premium stuff for your first few years espeically with your budget and go for the best civic you can get for that money

this colour is the one to have too!
