What car is it?

If it's a Fiesta, it'll probably be cheap.

If it's a Ferrari, it'll probably be expensive.

The "covers fitted" seems massively generic. Where are these covers, and what items are they unable to see? Also, "oil leak" from where?

I'd probably not bother or price up the replacement parts & throw on some money for labour then call the seller & see if he's rectified any of the issues if not you can negotiate if he gets close to your number then view the car take it for a thorough test drive & carry on haggling from there.

Could be a picky MOT tester. Most old cars have corroded surfaces somewhere, especially suspension components. Depends on the car and what it costs.

Yes, my brabus roadster had an advisory for slight corrosion on the subframe a couple of years ago which hasn't been mentioned since. Checked under the car when I picked it up and it's fine. My old mk3 mx5 was covered in surface rust on the chassis and it was never mentioned.
