After much deliberation I'm treating myself to a seamaster 300 m and the explorer 2 will have to wait a little while yet. Now I have a few watches and have developed a bit of a thing for nato straps. Normally I buy them for next to nothing, however, this time I have the opportunity to make a decent saving on a original. So this brings up some questions - should I buy a original one instead of a £10 eBay job? - should I treat a 3k watch to something more special. Are they worth it? Is the quality that much better?

These are the two options:

No.

if you want the look of the buckle on a cheaper (but still high quality) NATO from somewhere else, then remove it and buy an omega one to fit - they are about £15 from a boutique
