Just thought it might be useful for those of us with deposits in for the second wave (2018) allocation to see where things are up to? I've not heard of anyone being allocated in the 'second round' so would be good to know when/if this starts happening. I've not heard anything from the dealer.

2 OPC's have recently mentioned "smaller 2nd allocation".. so have Porsche pre-warned them not to take too many deposits? Maybe. Certainly makes sense now for OPC's to have a slightly better idea on how many cars they might receive. FWIW - huge increase in interest in non-GT 911's i.e. GTS, Targa, C2/4S etc etc..

I'm with my OPC on Saturday 24th June to finalise my Macan GTS build spec and will hopefully get some more news then on my GT3 allocation

Tried speaking to about 12/13 opc now and all want customers who have purchased many cars in the past which is fair enough I guess. One has put me on the list for next year but suspect that doesn't mean much.

Will prob have to opt for a used one when they come on to the 2nd market.

Be interesting to see what happens to the gen1 prices. Suspect they will hold up as the gen 2 will be much higher.
