My roof is stuck on. The LH boot lever moves up and down as normal but the pin does not retract, so the roof cannot be removed.

Has anyone else had this issue and how was it solved ?

Mine did this a while ago. Firstly as above.. check in the boot that the cable is still attached, if so, get a mate to help, and unclip the cable end on the boot lever, stick a big locking plier on the end and push and pull the cable back and forth to try to free it whilst the mate gives the roof a wiggle.

When it comes to replacing it, i did a thread on here somewhere as its an awkward job.

Thanks for the answers.

Had another look last night. The cable appears to still be attached to the lever, but seems to 'slip' so no movement of the pin. Frustrating to have the roof stuck on in this weather.

I had this on my Tuscan as well. I try to explain as good as possible:
The external, spliced cable is broken. Usually at the lower end at the lever in the boot. When you pull the lever all it does is pulling the spliced cable over the metal bushing (where it should retain). When you remove the trim around the lever you should see the broken cable.

I managed to get the roof off by pressing the broken cable together so it can't slip over the metal bushing.

But you have to do the nasty job of replacing the cable.

Thanks for all the comments. Managed with some help to pull the pin out enough to get the roof off.

Might be awkward to get back on. Will worry about that next time it rains !
