Z3M Coupe or C6 Corvette
Discussion
I'm looking at both of these to run alongside my other two cars. (2017 Alfa Giulia QV and 1966 Alfa Giulia Sprint GT Veloce)
No I've got the Alfa QV, the bar has been raised a bit of what my fun/interesting weekend car is.
I have 20-30K to spend.
I'd be most comfortable spending about 25K.
I've always loved the M Coupe's looks and attitude.
I quite fancy one for it NA straight six, manual gearbox and relatively old school feel.
I can get a high miler (70-110K) coupe by the looks of it, with the earlier S50 Engine. Quite like the fact it's got a cable throttle and no TC etc...
I like the corvette for the fact it's all V8 Muscle and you can remove the hard top etc. I could then tune it up a little etc.
I'd Ideally like a LS3 manual, but there doesn't seem to be many about, especially for my budget.
What do you guys think?
Has anyone driven both, or owned either??
I have the real want for an Mcoupe just at the minute, but that might change!!
My other left field choices are:
Z3M Roadster (looks a bit girlie and doesn't handle as well?)
Corvette ZR1 (left field but like the 4 cam V8, a bit "naff" in some respects and hard to sell on?)
TVR Griffith (Never had a TVR, but often scared off by the Fiberglass and rusty tubes)
I would also consider classics such as a nice 4 speed manual mustang fastback, with mods.

The C6 is a very good car the Z3M wouldn't get a look in.

Wassabouts the Z4Mcoupe...?
Not as iconic as the Clown Shoe/Breadvan.I've looked, but I'm not really sure whether it's for me.
Drive by wire throttle, looks that I'm not sure about, and getting away from that old school feel.
Maybe I'm wrong, but that's my thoughts right now.
