Laon Historique 2017
Discussion
I'm off to Laon this weekend for the annual Historique event, any other PHer's going??
As we are carrying on to Lake Como after the weekend, we will be in a 2008 Mustang Bullitt rather than the 67 Mustang we have used for the last few years.
Say hello if you bump into us, always a great weekend, especially if the weather is kind!

I hope you have a great time.
It always used to be a good weekend but last year was just way too busy. The so called drive around the town on the Sunday turned into one huge traffic jam, being stationary for some time and a lot of cars boiling over.
The "gala dinner" on the Saturday night was held in a draughty tent miles from nowhere with a real "bun fight" to get your self served food.
Not for us again sadly as it used to be fun.

Sounds like a good mix of cars, really looking forward to the weekend. I will be in convoy with a Dodge Ram SRT-10, so should be interesting on the Saturday run around the French countryside!
We are on the 9.25 ferry and stopping at Bethune on the way for lunch. Weather forecast looks OK, its rained at some point on every one I've been on, so hopefully it stays dry for the first time.
I think they wanted 1000 cars for last year's 25th anniversary, so should be less cars this year.
