Creux automatiq
Discussion
Well guys I am still in the process of looking for another watch to replace my panerai I sold last year , but nothing as of yet has captured my attention.
I have quite a few watch feeds on my Instagram with all the usual suspects but lately I have seen a few more for a brand I have never came across before
Creux automatiq ghost CA-01

Creux automatiq ghost CA-02 limited to 100 pieces

Having had a look about briefly I can only find one review where they try not to compare it to other brands that it shares a similarity too , but does anyone on here have any experience or knowledge about them ? .
I was emailing Dane the designer of these watches yesterday and he does sound like a genuine guy , he does have more timepieces on the way next year and the price of these frankly is a shock compared to the other high end brands he is trying to compete against.
I will hold my hands up that I am a complete novice when it comes to watches , and I can completely understand how beautiful timepieces get under your skin .
Cheers

There are a LOT of small to medium makers of genuine Swiss watches at that sort of price point.
Just so long as you're not thinking any of them are investments, just get what you like the look of, and can buy into their story and service.
I don't like that particular style, but then I'm an old codger and if we all liked the same, life would be pretty boring.
I like this sort of thing. In my opinion it's a better watch, and they give good customer service.
SH21 movement, 5 day reserve, exhibition back, COSC, hacking seconds. Flippin' bargain as they run out the old logo models.
Check out their guarantee as well.

I am a CW fan, I have bought several of their watches. No I am not paid to promote them.

Ch watches have always looked very nice but currently they don't have a model that I really like , the old makaira pro looked really nice .
I certainly don't think these would retain that value but I am torn , buy something that I like the look of from a relative unknown and Potentially loose their value quickly or put the money into a proven brand that will hold a certain amount of value .
Currently my superocean 2 is doing a sterling job and it's the one watch I will never part with especially as it was my wedding watch , but also in my eyes it's just perfect especially the black and red colour scheme .

Well still on the fence about these two watches and today's trip didn't help the matter just answered a few questions .
I had always discounted Rolex after trying on a Pepsi dial GMT ? , but today I wandered into the approved Rolex dealer in aberdeen just too have a look . After speaking to the well informed salesman he asked if I wanted to try on a deepsea , and all I can say is WOW .
The extra thickness of the watch really ticked the box for me and I must admit that it felt "right" on my wrist , then just too stick a spanner in the works the salesman appeared with a nice omega planet ocean chrono. Didn't have the same initial impression as the deepsea but by god there is no way you will forget that you're wearing one , but it slowly grew on me .
Ok the elephant in the room is the prices are polar opposite and still in budget , but I think I might slowly be getting the Rolex thing. I still have a bit of homework to do but I am enjoying trying on the potential new watches .
