Interested in opinions as to what will happen with these short and long term...

It is the last of the 'huge' cylinder engines (4991 V10) and even though now eclipsed by the newer models both for speed, comfort and efficiency, there aren't THAT many 'normal family cars' which come with a V10 engine (the BMW values thread reminded me).

Values using WBAC don't seem to have changed much over the last couple of years (maybe 10% off, as mileage increases?)

Avant, obviously.

Thoughts?

They'll keep dropping for a little bit longer yet but they will firm long term the question is how long will you honestly keep it for?

TBH values appear to be fairly stable at the moment. I think as a one year ownership proposition so long as you get no big bills then I think you'll do OK. Kinda fancy one myself.
