Ebay Cars - What is a "long" time for a car to be on sale?

Might as well get straight to the point.

I'm looking for a Z4M, which seem to sell relatively quickly if you believe the "sort by newest listing" option on ebay.

Question, if you're a dealer, what is a "long time" for a car to be on your showroom floor? A month? 2? 6? 2 weeks? Is it all dependent?

I'm just gearing myself up for a negotiation...

Depends on car, price and desirability.

Get mix right and it could be gone in hours.

Get it wrong and it could sit for weeks.

I've seen classics sit in ads in magazines for onwards of a year!
