Anyone had dealings with Chronext?
Discussion
Hi all, I am looking to sell my Tag Heuer Carrera Chronograph and want to avoid the usual ebay idiots. Watchfinder gave me a good valuation of £1600-£1800 pending inspection but only offered £1200 after seeing it, in mint condition with all papers and boxes immaculate somehow.
So I tried Chronext and uploaded a dozen pics to their online valuation service and a detailed description, waited a week and heard nothing. Then emailed them to see if they received my request, still nothing. Tried phoning, no answer, just rang and rang, final email and still nothing, now going on 3 weeks. Guess they are all fancy website but no vegetables.

I recently bought a speedmaster from them.
Good service, unbeatable price and good communication.
It did take 2 weeks to arrive, which in 2017 is pretty poor but I believe they source the watch from one of their approved AD's, once paid for by the customer, hence the lead time.
I would buy from them again but would probably pay an extra few % to get the watch directly from an AD, if that was an option.
Conclusion; they are legit, however it can be a slow operation.
