Been using LED's for a while now. Straight swap.

Provides a much better cleaner light. Bulbs are 501 w5w. Personally don't buy the cheap Chinese ones prefer Osram or Philips.

I changed the side, dip beam and rear tail/stop lights to LED.

World of difference.

I used this supplier http://bettercarlighting.co.uk/.

Are you talking about the fitting or the bulb?

If the fitting is falling off then putting an LED bulb in it won't help.

You can try these:

assuming the hole is 20mm or less (you can always make it larger).

I've used them and they are also available in amber / yellow / orange for use as side indicator repeaters - although I know for a fact that the factory hole for the side repeater is bigger than 20mm - worth considering if you're having paintwork done.

On my mk2 but you get the idea. Definitely agree don't bother with the chinese cheap stuff, i found most of them physically too tall to fit within the housing. I think i went with Philips in the end.

I have used these in a previous Tuscan-

Eagle eyes. Waterproof, mega bright.

Fitting is easy because they have a threaded back end with a nut- either get an appropriately sized rubber washer (diameter about 30mm) and put them through that, or, assuming you don't want the existing housing, drill a hole in and put the light through that.
