Best TUV approved bolt on wheel spacers ?

who makes the best bolt on 15mm wheel spacers that are TUV approved? FVD ?

The ones that have been on my 964 for around 20 years have started to crack so need replacing

Unfortunately Most of those are slip on ones for longer studs and rss seem to be for late models only rather than 964.

Struggling to find bolt on 15mm's , apart from design tech ones at Porsche shop ( non tuv?) or the FVD ones which are tuv approved

although it possibly looks like 15mm might be too thin for the bolt on style .. maybe longer studs is the way to go at this thickness

I think you've called it right, longer studs probably the only way at that spacer size. Check out the H&R info at hte bottom of the link below, DRS series is what you would need.

although that link is slightly confusing as they are 15mm DRM fittment which is bolt on. I've found the same on german ebay, but all other uk sites etc state 15mm are DRS fitment ?????

If H&R actually have a 15mm DRM product I'd feel happy about using it

think i've got to the bottom of it : For some reason H&R specify bolt on for 993 & not for 964 ?? Not sure why, maybe its a cup wheel thing & D90's dont work with the spacers?

The picture is generic which is confusing but I think the 15mm is DRS fitment with longer studs provided that replace your existing studs.

I have them on my 964 and it's done a lot of track days
The first non TUV ones I bought lasted 2 days before cracking

For interest ... Just picked up my old spacers 😱

Cracking all the way around . That line around the spacer between the holes is a crack , not dirt! Both spacers had cracked

Decided my next set will be slide on with longer studs fitted.





Now the Car looks crap without the spacers and doesn't drive as I like either

I think the 10 hole spacers are stronger than longer studs

Can't see how longer studs and a spacer are a weaker option

Longer studs=longer lever
With the extra leverage of longer studs you need less force to snap them

well .. I've ordered some bolt on H&R 15mms .. I'm going to keep an eye on them

It was pointed out to me the MSA regs that extend studs are not allowed .. ( not that this is a race car )

"Long studs correctly tightened shouldn't be an issue but if for any reason preload does fall then the studs could shear so long studs are generally considered less 'fail safe' than hubcentric designs hence the current MSA Regs.

E12.8.2 Not to be fitted with any wheel spacer exceeding 2.5cm in thickness or of less than hub diameter. Multiple or laminated spacers and extended studs are prohibited."
