Interesting coloured 991 Turbo S's
Discussion
Hi All,
I think I have settled on a 2013+ 991 Turbo S and my next car (after many months of faffing!). There are about 35 available on Autotrader but most of them are black (with a few white for good measure). I am not opposed to black as it looks pretty mean but I think I would really like something a little more interesting (wont do another white car!).
So where are all the more interesting colours? Even if I go up to the top level on pricing there aren't many more exciting colours available, unless I am missing something. Doesn't have to be orange or manta green but a nice red or blue or crayon maybe..........
Cheers!

I had the same problem when I was searching! So many black and white cars, people didn't have a lot of imagination!! Same for spec too, not many high spec cars!
There appears to be a few more on the Porsche locator this week. If you can stretch to a .2, the midnight blue car looks nice...
I eventually gave up and ordered a new car in crayon, with some nice black accents. I think that colour suits the the Turbo S.
Good luck!

A lot of the top VLoggers into wrapping, doing it on expensive cars - Lambos, Ferrari's. Even 918's.
Still a bit dubious about it to be honest. Read it can ruin the paint when you remove the vinyl & they are very hard to keep clean.
That was a couple years ago but I guess the technology has moved on, maybe it's OK now.

Have you tried telling them you REALLY want it soon, might help!!
The way they allocate build slots is bizarre...even when you do get one it can still vary by two or three weeks. The system the OPC's work off seems pretty random...it is possible for the sales guys to get more accurate updates by ringing someone in Porsche GB up. That's what the OPC salesman I use does.xbowdan said:
Long! Order placed 6 weeks ago and still waiting a build date!! Dealer estimates august... must be patient!!
I would say for August build you should know pretty soon.

I've got my Porsche experience invite, so that's one good thing I guess!!!

I really like this one but it feels a bit like we are nearly at new prices, just not sure I could deal with the several month waiting time........
