Cannot fit in a M Roadster...
Discussion
Just been for a test-drive in a M Roadster and I cannot fit!
I am 6ft 4 tall and drive a MR2 and have drove a S2000 with no problems.
Does any one know if the M coupe is any larger than the roadster?
The problem seems to be the clutch pedal was quite high and the seat wouldn’t go back enough to spread my left leg out.

If your free this weekend, sunday the 3rd, come along to Donington race circuit, next to East Midlands Airport, for the opening round of the British GT season.
There are two Z3M Coupe GT3's racing and 60, repeat, 60 plus Z3M Coupe owners turning up to watch. They will all be parked in one place so there will be no problem in trying the seating position in any number of cars as most of the owners will be delighted to offer advice or answer questions. As an aside, if all the cars expected turn up then this collection of Z3M Coupes will be the largest gathering of the car, ever, hence a world record.
Sad but true
P.s I'm in the black one with No: 8 on the side

it is a squeeze at 6'4" ish, but I just fit in my coupe. I think if you haven't got room in the roadster then you'll struggle in the coupe. You need can get a bit more room by sliding the seat forwards a bit, then tilting it forward then sliding it back and then reclining it. Depends on the shape of your body.
Alternatively, remove the electric seats and replace with recaros or the like... (a few kg lighter and a couple of inches lower) somthing I'm considering...

Interesting. I'm 6ft3 and can't fit in a S2000 nor Z4. Basically when i try to put it into fifth the gearstick wedges my leg against the steering wheel.
Haven't tried an M-Roadster so can't comment.
Very interesting! there is a similar tactic to the S2000. I used to own one myself More room in that than the beemer...
I'm 6ft4 and just fit in my M Roadster. It was a close call and nearly put me off buying it. You can get more room by lowering the seat to minimum, slide the main body forward a touch, and then recline the back - gives you more headroom. Also, you can rest your left leg under the pedals rather than on the footrest provided. Have to say though, it's not the comfiest on really long journeys.
