Has anybody ever?

To cut a long story short, I was working over the weekend and felt a bit of pain in my groin on Sunday night.
Turns out the constant bending and straightening to the fridges behind the bar had taken its toll.
Cue a trip to A&E on Monday night in lots of pain to be told that I have trapped and twisted my left kn*cker
They then told me that I did the right thing as this can lead to "torsion testicle", which can lead to surgical intervention to remove it
I still feel sick now!!

....and in my case, add a couple of permanant stitches to prevent it happening again.
When it happened to me (20 years ago now!!) I was walking like John Wayne for about a week following the op.
Mind you, I'm sure surgical techniques have improved somewhat since!
You have my sympathies.... it is a painful experience!
Especially as a 16 year old when you try and describe the symptoms to your mother!!!!

Oh it is painful-I was never so glad to go under general anesthetic.
It happended to me when I was young too-I was about 20

It would appear that it has not progressed to this point, I am quite pleased to say.
My other half has found it possibly the funniest thing ever (then I showed her a picture of her when she was in labour-revenge is sweet)

A likely story, the usual cause of a torted testis is being 'on the job' so to speak! Happened to a friend of mine who was a surgical trainee and he had to be admitted, examined and operated on by his own team.
