I saw one of these at an OPC and it looked magnificent in the sunshine. Dealer told me they'd had it for 2 months and only had 3 phone calls about it.

Only themselves and their ilk to blame as established dealer lore is to bracket green with 'doom blue' as tooth-sucking, head-wagging, unmarketable colours. I don't think(?) BMW today offers a green 3 Series in the UK. Colour sounds great.

Saw a Forest Green 996TT at RPM a few Saturday's ago - was the best looking 996TT I'd ever seen.

It was meant to be going on their website that week but never made it - guess someone loved it as much as I did!

Well , starting this thread has at least made me realise i don't have any pics of my car !!

As soon as i get chance i'll take some and then see if i can get a teenager to show me how to post them .

Personally i love the colour and seems to change so much dependant on light conditions , prior to purchasing the car i was advised by a dealer that it was not a particularly popular colour in the UK and to bear that in mind , that said i have nothing but positive comments and am quite surprised just how rare the colour appears to be .

Really classy colour for a 911. Also very refreshing to have an alternative colour to the majority.

German Racing Green?

Looks great though. Also looking good in dark green: Audi RS2, RS4 and E39 M5 (ask me how I know....).

I had a Boxster in that colour. I absolutely loved it.

Took many comments about my "British" roadster...

I'm glad I'm not the only person partial to darker shades of green. Do I recall members of the Porsche / Piech family like a dark green 911 too?
