OK,

6000miles ago I had a full set of boots fitted and now, I need a new set of front's!

WTF is going on?

I've checked all the usual stuff, tyre wear is even across the tyre on both, the wheels are aligned and all that sh*t!

They were from Kwik Fit but I told the bloke to stuff his cheepo stuff where his finger doesn't fit and give me a half decent set!

This one has really got me pickeled!

Anyone??

If the front wishbone bushes were worn then the tyres would be wearing on the inside edge quickly and you would also feel the car tramlining as though it is stuck in a rut on the road surface so that is unlikely.

I can omly think that you have bought cheap tyres and have been whacking them a bit. Do you go on track days much? Do you create understeer for any reason? This can reduce tyre wear considerably.

Cheers Guys,

Madcop - No trackdays but I did stick on a set of Kwik Fit's finest Shite. Took it back in there today and the bloke said that the mileage sounds about right when hooned.

Had the wishbones replaced at the same time as the tyres, tracking done too! Just rebooted the front with Firestone Firehawk 700. Wonder how long they will last
