One of the Hitch hikers guide books has a space ship which is suposed to be travelling to the new world after the earth was seen to be doomed. It turned out that in fact the ship was heading for the sun (and I don't mean Malaga) and had been filled with all of the basically useless and non-essential occupations.

Question is, what occupations would you put on board and why?

As I have upset all the lawyers and media moguls in the past, for a change I suggest the seats in rows 1-8 and boarding first into the seats with extra ego room should go to actors, who serve no useful purpose other than to perpetuate their own jobs, give the half-sits at stage school false hope and only appear to say meaningles things on 'Parky' when they have a new film/programe out.

Over to you.

I'd get the consultants to charge me £5,000 to tell me they should be on board.

edited to add: invoice payable 30 days after blast off, of course!

Excellent; all the world's problems fixed in one fell swoop 'Vote Labour and die'...

You know, dictatorship has certain advantages
