Repaired wheel balance issue?

OPC repaired a lightly scuffed Diamond Polished alloy wheel for me last week.

In a very narrow speed band (47-52mph) I can feel a small but perceptible 'wobble' in the cars ride that wasn't there before. The feeling is more like driving over a lumpy surface rather than my traditional experience of a wheel being out of balance (the wobble is felt through the steering wheel rather than the ride).

I could probably live with it but 75% of my daily commute is on a 50mph limit road so I'm driving at exactly the speed the issue is felt!

Any suggestions before I give my OPC a call to book it back in?

Maybe pay a local tyre/wheel outfit to put it on their machine (but not actually change anything) to give you some info prior to visiting OPC??
