Toothless Sagaris and Airflow
Discussion
I collected my Sag after it's last service before it goes to it's new owner on Tuesday
. Since it's being transported on a trailer we agreed to remove the front splitters. Driving it home the dash water temp was hitting 100 , but the oil was under 70
.So I returned to X-Works thinking my dash water sensor was knackered. Idling everything was perfect and after checking it against the ECU water sensor , it was correct within 0.5 of a degree. Then
it was because I didn't have the splitters fitted.
Moral of the story:-
I) Don't run with the splitters off
2)The splitters are very effective at directing the airflow across the radiator

PS Just need a buyer for my Tuscan Convertible now

Keith, I never thought you would sell the saggy, now you are thinking about selling what must be the best Tuscan Covert out there.
Are you waiting to buy a new TVR (like me) or are you just keeping the Chim and going down a different route.
