You are close on the plate but not quite right

It's GI Jnr's car. Any excuse to get one of my photos of it posted here:

Hi Tuan

Wow, what a sound that car makes !!

Yes, it was fun, and your car is just stunning - from all angles ! I didn't notice the sticker to be honest, was too wowed by the noise (just glad I had the roof off !)

Tuan, I read with delight about your T350 (and other tvr's), you stated that you'd heard that the T350 would out-handle a Ferrari 360 ?? - now you own a 360 please tell me ....... does it ?? I'm never, ever likely to drive a Ferrari, so any info comparing it to a TVR would enlighten my day !
Cheers - Simon (Swill)

Simon,

I remember writing that, thinkiing that I'd hit the pinnicle of performance cars with the TVR's. I had if we're talking sensible money.

However, when money's no object, these Italian cars come into their own...

As good as the T350C is, when it tramlines, the 360 holds true. When the chassis gets unnerved going over a manhole cover, the 360 bearly registers it.

You can basically tell that the money's gone into the chassis development, which I think is the TVR's achilles heel.

(but then we are talking £XX,XXX more...)

The Murci is the heavyweight boxer, deliberate but devastating.

The 360 is the ballerina, light footed and fraceful.

The TVR is the British Yob, out for trouble and looking to fight everyone!

no offence to British Yobs intended

Drop me a line if you're ever in WSM/Bristol area over the summer, you may get your Ferrari wings yet
