Chip repairs - pen or specialist?

Get some paint mixed by a specialist, also get some lacquer. Gently using a postage stamp size piece of 1500/2500 wet n dry, feather the edges of the chip. Using a cocktail apply spots of paint into the chip, slightly over fill. Once dry using the 2500 rub down, once chip filled apply lacquer & 2500 - AG Paint renovator- AG Super resin polish & wax.

Just to elaborate on the issue I am facing. Getting out of my car at the weekend, I slipped & bashed the door into a metal bollard/wall. Annoying.
It had created a small scratch on the door lip, exposing some silver underneath the black paint + a few small marks towards top of the picture below.
Any advice as to whether this is a simple repair with the corrective paint pen from Porsche or to use a specialist? The mark is not noticeable when the door is closed, although my initial reaction is whether this should be treated, will it get worse etc.
