It is really a sentance for stupidity-why call the police first?-if you have an air rifle snipe the Chav Scum off at a distance.

Not the case - a tazer is a Class 3 firearm apparently (as a mate found out when Customs confiscated one).

Yeah, customs get tetchy about stun guns etc.

IIRC an air rifle becomes a 'firearm' when the power exceeds 12ft/lbs - when a firearms certificate is needed.
