Afternoon all. Just took delivery of this after wanting one for a while. Chuffed to bits, even though it's a lot bigger than I remember it to be on the wrist when I last tried one on a year or so back. Anyone else got one?

I had the Chronograph 46 mm really loved it, but after a while i thought it heavy when I had worn it for a few days.

I have a Blue one, although not worn it for a while.

To me it is a very smart watch under a nice white shirt cuff, much better looking than my Planet Ocean in that respect.

I must get it out and give it a few month use, as been wearing beaters for ages now!

Enjoy!

Cheers all.

Did any of you have any problems with the crown? it's quite hard to tighten mine fully and I don't want to force it. It never stays tight for long and always returns to a position where you can still feel some spring in it when pushing it against the body of the watch.

After 12 months mine stripped its thread so off it went back to Brietling for a new tube thread and crown. Its a very well documented problem with a lot of brietling models a couple or so years ago. There are a few threads on TZ and other Forums

What a coincidence; family member just bought a blue one. Before I saw it he told me he'd bought a new watch but was having second thoughts. He asked me to give him my honest reaction as he unboxed it. Out the bag it came so I could see from the box it was a Breitling, to which I said I'm not a fan. As he opened it, this absolute beauty popped out. I really, really liked it. Unfortunately, my reaction means he's keeping it. I wasn't smart enough to go urgh!, but I'll take it off your hands for a pittance! It really is a gorgeous watch.

I have the blue one with the mesh strap. My first lifetime watch and I love every bit of it. Son was working in a high street chain jewellery shop when I bought it many years ago, so I nabbed one (with 30% discount) for just shy of £1800. What is nice (for me) about it is that I eventually spent less than half my self-allocated budget. Entirely because I just loved the way it looked on my wrist. Breitling was a robust enough watch for me to buy. Totally accept that it is nowhere near top end.
