Where can I get a pre-purchase inspection of a Gallardo done, not at Dealer prices?

How much is it likely to set me back?

Cool, much less that I thought. Is it any good or very generic tyres/brakes etc?

Do they know Lambos? Can evaluate clutch etc?

Glad to see you're buying a sensible motor.

I haven't seen any lambos in das ever. Perhaps this is more Alex renners bag

Both options I'm looking at are sensible:

The Superleggera is an appreciating classic that I might make money on. Sensible.

The LP560-4 is more sensible than the above as a daily driver.

See, both sensible.

I used ARM when I bought my 911. 500AED for the inspection. They always have some lovely exotica in their workshop.

Just be aware that ARM like to give you a rectification list that would basically return the car to factory-new.... perhaps OK on a nearly new supercar but utterly pointless on the 7 year old Cayenne I had them PPI - their estimate was more than twice the cost of the car!

I'd agree with you but it was silly things like replacing and repainting the entire rear bumper because it had some scratches where things had been loaded - no-one buys a 90k KM car expecting it to be in factory condition.

That said, I'd have more confidence in ARM than in Al Tayer... I had them perform a PPI on the 360 for me and they missed a fair number of glaringly obvious things that I'd already spotted, that gave me no encouragement at all!

I think a PPI from ARM would be most useful in negotiating with a seller, as it tends to list everything that could be done...
