Just sold my first thing on Ebay

Now having issues with Papal/winner. It seems Paypal want me to upgrade my account to accept the payer's credit card, and they'll charge me. Payer doesn't want to register his debit card. He's offered to pay via 'Nochex' - is this a dodgy thing to do?

Just upgrade. It makes life so much better in the long run.

Nope. Nochex is a PayPal alternative. Your buyer is probably legit.

Yep, that's normal. If you upgrade your PayPal account to take CCs you'll get charged 3.4% + 20p for every transaction. I did However if you plan to do a lot of eBaying you'll probably find it easier to do it eventually, as PayPal, depsite, the charges, is fast, easy, and nearly everybody uses it.

I've upgraded - seemed like the easiest option.
