What car next?

After many years of enjoying my E92 coupe, the reality of having a young child and a 2 door car is kicking in.

I'm after a 4 door, sensible yet sporty car for around the £7000 mark. What are my options? I like the Octavia VRS but I am open to suggestions.

I'd be looking at the Mondeo over the VRS, it's a better steer as well as being well equipped.
