987 PASM issue

Hi all
I picked up my new to me Boxster RS60 Spyder yesterday, on the day Home there seemed to be a PASM warning light, and the ride went harsh, as if it was stuck in sport. I pulled in for some food, after turning the car back on, the warning disappeared, and the ride was fine along with the button. Today there's no warning, but it's still riding harsh as if it's in sport, and the button won't activate. I've contacted the garage and will wait to see if they can have it back to have a look.
Just wondering if anyone's experienced the problem and if it's something I could fix, maybe reset the system maybe,,
