Government run as a management

Why is that all we seem to hear is management speak. ie "raft of measures", "ringfencing", "earmaked" etc.
Perhaps in the future they will not be called the Cabinet but Line Managers.
Will they all be going on a team building course...... as far away as possible?

Because the awful truth is; we are governed by a bunch of middle-managers without a hint of statestmanship between them. The people get the leaders that reflect the people. The tradegy is that we have government' but no parliment. This period of Labour modernising, it its repurcusions will be remembered for a long time yet...
