replacement clutch upgrade

Just pre empting a possible clutch replacement for my 2002 996 Targa. Does anyone have any experience or advice relating to a clutch thats a bit beefier than Porsche original equipment.
The fact of the matter is, i do like to get of the line like a scalded cat!!
