I really fancy an Apple Watch.
I have no issues with buying a used one, so considering a series 1.
However, being waterproof would be a bonus as I spend a fair amount of time in a swimming pool.
I realise I can remove the watch, but it would be handy.
What other benefits does the series 2 give me?

I got the series 2 , apparently the screen is brighter , I did a side by side and I couldn't see much difference. Being water proof is handy as you can go swimming 🏊. Also I like the built in gps for running 🏃 I loaded some tunes onto the watch and use it with Bluetooth headphones so it's all you need to take out , the hands free is pretty good to handy if driving an unusual car without a proper hands free as you always have it!
Bottom line I really like it but if you don't use it for fitness tracking it is quite an expensive gadget and I'm sure in a few years it will be totally outdated
