Tories show their true colours.

Im just sick of all the bullshit from all sides. I was gonna vote Tory but why bother? All theyll do is the same as the other.
No truth, no honesty no loyalty to the electorate, and no ferking honour.
Theyre all a shower of bastards who'll receive the contempt they deserve when they come a canvassing for votes, assuming they can even be bothered to speak to the likes of us "filth".
Stupid, stupid and stupid.

I'm dissapointed.
I want much much bigger cuts in public expenditure. What the tories propose is a drop in the ocean. Lets start with the civil service. Halve it and then abolish the index linked publicly funded pensions for all public servants. Then abolish district councils, clamp down on social security benefit fraud and leave the EU. Thats about £100 billion, enough to cut taxes, abolish the climate change levy, employers N.I, business rates. A start anyway.
Same old tories. Not aggressive enough.

and.....why not abolish child benefit...if you cannot afford one dont have it....
CC, you clearly know nothing at all about party politics. A quick lesson for you.
Conservatives, by instinct, wish to tax less, provide more personal choice and freedom and spend less on supporting freeloaders and bottom feeders. Some Conservatives have stronger views on this than others.
Howard Flight feels strongly about this, but his views are out of step with the Conservative leadership. For publicly making this known he has been summarily dealt with.
Labour, by instinct, wish to tax more, restrict personal choice and freedom and spend more on freeloaders and bottom feeders. Some Labourites have stronger views on this than others.
The difference is that Labour MPs are too dishonest to make their true feelings known and would rather bastardise their deepest held principles to guarantee a seat in the Commons. No Labour MP is ever kicked out, no matter if they divorce their wives by text message/take money from dodgy foreign businessmen/put nude pictures of themselves on gay websites/lie about creating a war/lie about the mysterious death of civil servants/call for the "deserved" execution of our own troops.

A tad misleading and based on an automatic assumption that Tory = Good, Labour = Bad. All parties have good and bad policies. I remind people that it was the Conservatives that brought in the Criminal Justice Bill, which, as far as I recall, was designed to restrict personal freedoms.
No doubt I'm going to get flamed for daring to have an opinion which differs from someone else's on this subject.

It seems to me that many people on PH would like a Government which has the kind of powers that no rational person should wish a Government to have, basically along the lines of rounding up everyone they consider to be the "lower" classes and put them in concentration camps.

And the problem with this is?
