The final Le Mans Entry list appears to confirm that LNT didn't obtain even a
reserve entry for Le Mans

Huge impact for those of us going in our thousands to support TVR.

What a pile of sh*te!

At least it means there's room for another 234 Porka's.

But seriously, that’s very disappointing news.

I cannot believe it. No LNT TVR's. I'm sure that they don't deserve that. I am pleased Rollcentre has 2 entries. Porsche, porsche, porsche when will the ACO learn. Bring on British GT...I am absolutely gutted...

Granted, but I think there may be even stronger support for the Aston Martins, especially after their stunning performance at Sebring. I personally can't wait to see them. My brother has been at Millbrook when the DB9 racer was being tested and he said it sounded awesome

And congrats here too to Martin Short for getting 2 entries. A touch of unfinished business I feel...

Racesport will be there to represent the marque...

But yes, It's a massive blow. I can't understand how Spyker ahve one full entry and one reserve and neither LNT cars got a look in...

Will be a shame, they were looking competative at Sebring.

One of the reasons why there could be no LNT TVR's is because Chaimberlain-Synergy have entered their new Lola LMP2 car. The entry is based on Le Mans experience.

Racesport are back in with one TVR T400! They could always do a deal with LNT, as the LNT cars are far more developed for Le Mans by Specfab.

Yep that is a shame, they were looking good at Sebring and it would have been great to see them at LM!

It is a shame about the LNT cars. Seems to me that there are a lot more LMP2 cars this year, so something has had to give. A lot of the "big" Porsche teams (Alex Job, Flying Lizard) have been limited to 1 car.
But Don Panoz still gets 2 Esperantes in.....
My advice is - if you want an entry, buy a Courage (or be Don Panoz)

Porsche and Panoz are giving good backing and LNT were getting as much help as Chaimberlain-Synergy had last year which was none! Had another interested party bought TVR then things would be very different!

James, attempts at April Fools should be done before midday.

Anyone with any knowledge of the facts at all will be aware that TVR did involve themselves with Chaimberlain-Synergy and are involved with LNT. Granted the involvement doesn't extend to millions of pounds of manufacturer's cash, but we both know that TVR couldn't afford that if they wanted to.

LNT are, as far as I'm aware, carrying out 100% of the development of the T400R. They have a highly respected designer/engineer in Alan Mugglestone and are carrying out their own work from their base in Sheffield. I believe they are also making headway in their own engine development now, too.

There is no real GT department left at TVR and the chassis engineer responsible for the T400R from its inception has recently left.

(This is not an anti-TVR post, by the way.)

Archie,

Perhaps you should ask Bob Berridge who is the team principal of Chaimberlain-Synergy and ask him how much effort the factory helped them. However things would have been very different had one sound British bid been successful to buy TVR. It wasn't and NS won with his hard earned Russian cash.

Dave Lampit and SpecFab did all the developement after Sebring 2004. Dave changed an awful lot on the cars before Le Mans. Dave is now engineering Bob's new Lola-AER.

Yes, but Muggo has done all the recent stuff - hence the change back to 'narrow' configuration for their ALMS/LMES cars.

I don't know about anyone else but I am getting fed up with all these prototypes. Give me Aston's, Ferrari's, Lambo's and TVR's any day of the week.
